Today, October 8, 2018, marked the opening of Early Voting for the Statewide General Election, which will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2018!
Starting today, the main Elections office, located at 2221 Kern Street, Fresno, CA 93721, will serve as a polling place, Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm from October 8 through November 6, 2018. Additionally, vote-by-mail ballots have been mailed to those voters that have requested their ballots be sent to them.
“Early voting is a great opportunity for voters with busy schedules or who cannot make it to their polling place on November 6, 2018,” says Fresno County Clerk, Brandi Orth. “We hope voters will take advantage of this opportunity to come down to the Elections office and cast their ballots. Every vote counts!”
Fresno County’s Elections office serves as a countywide polling place. Voters can come into the office to pick up their ballot and take it with them OR they can actually cast their vote at that time. Additionally, voters can call the Elections office at (559) 600-8683 to request that a Vote-by-Mail ballot be mailed to them.
Voters can also go online to fresnovote.com to verify and update their registration status.
