Fresno County Auditor-Controller/Treasurer-Tax Collector, Oscar J. Garcia, CPA, reminds all taxpayers that the first installment of the 2019-20 Fresno County Secured Property Tax Bill will be considered delinquent, if not paid by 5:00 PM on December 10, 2019.
A ten-percent penalty will be added to all payments received in the office after 5:00 PM or postmarked by the United States Postal Service after December 10, 2019.
NEW THIS YEAR: For your convenience, beginning December 2, 2019 through December 10, 2019, our office will be open from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday and from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2019.
FAILURE TO RECEIVE A TAX BILL DOES NOT RELIEVE THE TAXPAYER OF THE RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE TIMELY PAYMENTS.
Anyone who has recently acquired property must verify the taxes have been paid. Tax information and payments may be obtained by accessing the Fresno County website at www.fresnocountyca.gov or by calling our automated phone system at (559) 600-3482.
Payments made by check should include a tax bill stub and made payable to: Fresno County Tax Collector. Payments by mail should be sent to:

We strongly recommend that you pay by mail or use our automated system to avoid parking issues and waiting in line. Fresno County offers a drop box for payments made by check in the lobby in Room 105 of the Hall of Records, 2281 Tulare Street in Fresno from December 2, 2019 through December 10, 2019. Additionally, a drive-through drop-off service will be available in the parking lot of the Hall of Records on December 10, 2019 from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM for check payments. In order to access the drive through, you will need to enter through the M Street entrance. Please note, there will be a limited number of parking stalls available during this time.
