This week representatives of the Fresno County Department of Public Health, Board of Supervisors, City of Fresno, Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, City of Mendota, and numerous Fresno County leaders welcomed officials representing the State’s Unified Support Team, to discuss the ongoing response to COVID-19.
The intent of these meetings was to outline the County’s current response to COVID-19, review ongoing challenges and/or gaps in meeting community needs, and identify areas and opportunities where the state may help to supplement efforts to most effectively address the pandemic in Fresno County. This type of ongoing conversation and collaboration with partners at the state and local level is critical to ensure our communities have the information and resources necessary to help protect health and safety.
